Hello, Calvin here again.

So now is the time for my young Calvin-Academy students to step up to the plate and secure a position as a DIGITAL DESIGNER and showcase their Specialist Computer Software Skills that they mastered in class and have currently refined at their internships.

I personally help my young graduates overcome these 2 barriers by ensuring that their CV and reference letters are professional and clear and then I connect with the prospective owners myself and promote them.

In this way they are able to by-pass any manager who confuses young as being inexperienced and immature.

Here is my advice from the many ups and downs in my personal business journey: Handle the challenges of the moment in creative ways, but never turn back to give up on what you started and still want!

Success will come when you least expect it. Be patient. Be persistent. Be working on your passion and learn from your mistakes. Don’t count on the Lotto. Count on your daily inner strength and abilities.

Success is waiting for you around this corner. And if not… then around the next corner. Don’t lose heart.

An Internship programme is important for every student at CalvinAcademy to enable them to apply practically what they have learned in class. 

They get exposure to real clients and real projects which helps them get accustomed to the working environment before they apply for a job.

I put a lot of emphasis on internships as it is the the best method for students to evaluate their digital graphic design skills and knowledge.
